AP ICET-2026 Results: 91.41% Pass, Females Lead

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh education minister Nara Lokesh on Saturday released the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET)-2026 results, with 21,205 candidates qualifying out of the 23,198 students who appeared for the examination, registering an overall pass percentage of 91.41%.

According to official data, a total of 26,219 candidates had applied for the entrance examination conducted on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The test was held on May 2 in two sessions across 91 test centres located in 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh and one centre in the Hyderabad region.

Gender Performance and District-wise Highlights

Female candidates outperformed male candidates in the examination. While the pass percentage among female candidates stood at 92.62%, male candidates recorded a pass percentage of 89.91%. Srikakulam recorded the highest district-wise pass percentage, while Visakhapatnam saw the highest participation in the examination, followed by West Godavari, NTR and Tirupati districts.

Top Rankers and Registration Trends

Vaishnavi Patnala from Kakinada secured the first rank in AP ICET-2026 with 166.094 marks. Burru Venkata Siddartha Yadav from YSR Kadapa and Shaik Khajaliyakhath from Nellore secured second and third ranks respectively. Officials said registrations for AP ICET-2026 declined this year. While 26,219 candidates registered for the exam this year, registrations stood at 37,572 in 2025, making a nearly 30% drop.
