Bareilly Toppers Honored with Electric Scooters in Shamli Ceremony

Shamli: In a ceremony held at the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday, ten meritorious students from Bareilly who excelled in the UP Board 2026 High School and Intermediate examinations were felicitated. District Magistrate Avinash Singh handed over the keys of electric scooters to the toppers, including Vaishnavi and Chaman Jahan, in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Recognition and Rewards

The event saw the presence of Mayor Umesh Gautam, who announced free admissions at Invertis University for all the felicitated toppers. Speaking on the occasion, DM Singh said, “These electric scooters are a small recognition of your tireless hard work, perseverance and commitment. You should now aim even higher and work towards achieving excellence at the national level, bringing laurels to the country.”

District Performance

The DM commended the performance of girl students from Bareilly, stating that the district’s daughters performed well across the state this year. Bareilly district recorded impressive results in the UP Board 2026 exams. In the Intermediate results, Nandani Gupta secured the second rank in the state, while Surabhi Yadav secured the third spot. Khushi Maurya and Simran Maurya jointly secured the sixth position, and Chaman Jahan secured the seventh position. In the High School results, Vaishnavi and other girl students from the district also made it to the toppers’ list.
