Patna: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Monday extended their heartfelt congratulations to Shubham Kumar for securing the top rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026. Shubham, hailing from the IIT-Delhi zone, achieved the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Common Rank List (CRL) with an impressive score of 330 marks out of 360.

In a post on social media platform X, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary wrote, "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the talented student Shubham Kumar, who secured All India Rank-1 in JEE (Advanced) 2026 and brought glory to Bihar across the nation. Nitin Nabin, who represents Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, also took to X to express his joy. In a post in Hindi, he said, "Shubham Kumar, a meritorious student from Gaya, secured first place across India in the prestigious JEE Advanced 2026 by scoring 330 marks." He added, "His success will serve as an inspiration for lakhs of students across the country, including Bihar. Heartiest congratulations to Shubham Kumar on this golden achievement, and infinite best wishes for his bright future."
Encouragement for All Students
Nitin Nabin also congratulated all other students who cleared the entrance test. "Your hard work and dedication have made this achievement possible. Best wishes for your bright future," the BJP president said in another post. He further encouraged those who did not succeed this time, stating, "At the same time, to those students who could not succeed this time, I would say do not get disheartened. I am fully confident that your patience and consistent efforts will bring you great success in the future."
