The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 examination, which was originally scheduled for May 28, 2026. The decision to defer the exam was taken due to the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday.
Official Notice Details
According to the official notice released by NTA, the CUET UG 2026 exams planned for May 28 in both shifts will now be conducted on revised dates. The new schedule will be announced later, and candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites, including the NTA and CUET UG Portal, for the latest updates and announcements.
The notice states that this decision was made following the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) notification regarding the change in the holiday date for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid). NTA has urged students to rely only on official communication to avoid confusion and misinformation.
