The Tier 2 examination was conducted over four days—March 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2026—for recruitment to a total of 7,267 posts under the EMRS recruitment process. The answer key has been released in online mode and includes correct responses for all subjects and question paper sets. Candidates can use these documents to estimate their scores ahead of the final result declaration.

According to the official scheme, candidates will receive one mark for every correct answer, while one-third mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. The answer key is expected to help candidates calculate their probable scores by comparing their marked responses with the officially released answers.

Objection Process and Fee Structure

The objection process for the provisional answer key will be conducted online through the official portal. Candidates seeking to challenge any answer must submit documentary proof from recognised academic sources, including NCERT books or standard textbooks. For each objection raised, a fee of ?1,000 per question must be paid through the online payment gateway. The final answer key will be released after review of all submitted objections. Based on previous recruitment cycles, the objection window is generally open for three to seven days after the release of the provisional answer key.
