FMGE June 2026 Results: Pass Rate Plummets to 12.4%
FMGE June 2026 Results: Pass Rate Falls to 12.4%

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2026 session, revealing a sharp decline in the pass rate to just 12.4 percent. This marks one of the lowest success rates in the exam's history, reflecting the increasing difficulty of the test or candidates' preparedness.

Result Availability and Scorecard Release

Candidates can access their results on the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, by entering their registration number and date of birth. Individual scorecards will be released on July 16, 2026, allowing candidates to download detailed performance reports. The exam was conducted on June 24, 2026, across multiple centers nationwide.

Pass Rate Analysis and Implications

According to NBEMS officials, the pass rate has dropped significantly from previous sessions. In June 2025, the pass rate was around 18 percent, while December 2025 saw a slight improvement to 21 percent. The current 12.4 percent pass rate indicates that only 12.4 out of every 100 candidates cleared the exam. This decline may impact the number of foreign medical graduates eligible to practice in India, potentially affecting healthcare staffing.

"The results reflect the rigorous standards maintained by NBEMS to ensure quality medical professionals," said an NBEMS spokesperson. "We advise candidates to review their scorecards and consider re-evaluation if needed."
