The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for the year 2026. Students can now access their scorecards through the official CISCE website and other designated platforms.
Overall Statistics
A total of approximately 3.6 lakh students appeared for the examinations this year. Among them, 2,58,721 candidates from 2,957 schools took the ICSE exams, while 1,03,316 students from 1,553 schools appeared for the ISC (Class 12) exams.
Recheck and Re-evaluation Process
Students who believe their marks do not accurately reflect their performance have the option to apply for re-checking and re-evaluation. The re-evaluation process involves a detailed review of answer scripts beyond basic totalling checks. However, as per CISCE guidelines, students must first apply for a recheck before proceeding to re-evaluation.
How to Apply for Recheck
Students can apply for re-check through the official CISCE website by using the "Public Services" link. They need to log in to the CISCE Service Portal using their registered email ID and password. New users must complete registration before applying. Schools can also submit applications through the CAREERS portal using the principal’s login credentials.
The recheck application window is open from May 1 to May 4, 2026. Recheck results are expected to be announced in the first week of June.
How to Apply for Re-evaluation
The re-evaluation window opens only after the recheck results are declared and remains active for just three days. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. The board has fixed the re-evaluation fee at Rs 1,500 per subject for both ICSE and ISC candidates. This fee is non-refundable. The final re-evaluation results are likely to be announced within three weeks of application, tentatively by late June or early July.
