This notice specifically addresses those who have passed their Class 12 examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), or other state boards.
Automatic Marks Fetching via DigiLocker
According to the official notice, such candidates are required to update their Class 12 marks through the KEA portal. This step enables automatic fetching of marks using DigiLocker. The authority has clarified that there is no provision for manual entry of marks or submission of physical copies of mark sheets to KEA. Candidates can complete the process through the official portal, the KEA CET Online Portal.
Warning for Non-Compliance
The authority further warned that candidates who fail to update their marks may have their KCET 2026 results withheld. This underscores the importance of completing the process promptly.
Who Needs to Update Marks?
The notice is applicable only to candidates from the following boards:
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE/ICSE)

Steps to Update KCET 2026 Marks
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the process:
- Log in to DigiLocker and download the Class 12 mark sheet.
- Provide DigiLocker permission through the KEA portal so marks can be fetched automatically.
- Visit the official KCET portal at the KCET Marks Update Link.
- Log in using the required credentials.
- Verify and complete the marks updation process online.
KEA has also stated that the DigiLocker step is compulsory for updating marks on the CET online portal. Candidates are advised to complete the process at the earliest to avoid any issues during result preparation and merit determination for KCET 2026 admissions.
