The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has officially announced the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical entrance examination (KEAM) result for 2026. The much-anticipated results are now available on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in, bringing an end to the prolonged wait for candidates.
How to Download KEAM 2026 Scorecard
To access the KEAM result 2026, candidates need to follow these steps:
- Visit the official CEE Kerala portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on the "KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal" link on the homepage.
- Enter the application number, password, and security code.
- Log in to view the dashboard.
- Navigate to the result or scorecard section.
- Download and save the KEAM 2026 scorecard for future reference and admission procedures.
The scorecard will be crucial for admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses across Kerala for the upcoming academic year. Candidates who secure the minimum required normalised score will be eligible for inclusion in the KEAM engineering rank list, expected to be released later this month.
Minimum Qualifying Score and Eligibility
CEE Kerala has stated that students must obtain at least a normalised score of 10 to qualify for the engineering rank list. However, this minimum qualifying score rule does not apply to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Importantly, any candidate who failed to answer even a single question in the examination will be disqualified from the admission process.
Rank List Preparation
While the KEAM result displays normalised entrance examination scores, the final engineering rank list will also incorporate Class 12 marks. Candidates are required to submit their Plus Two marks through the KEAM portal for rank list compilation. CEE Kerala follows a weighted system that considers both entrance exam performance and qualifying exam marks. Students who do not submit their Class 12 scores within the stipulated timeline may not be considered for the final rank list.
KEAM 2026 Counselling Process
Following the publication of the rank list, the state will initiate the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for engineering admissions. The counselling process is expected to commence in July and will be conducted in multiple rounds, including a mop-up round for vacant seats. Candidates securing ranks through KEAM 2026 will become eligible for admission to government, aided, private self-financing, and other participating engineering institutions across Kerala. The allotment will depend on candidate rank, reservation category, seat availability, and option entry preferences.
Aspirants are advised to regularly check the official website for complete details regarding the KEAM result 2026 and subsequent procedures.
