Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty announced on Tuesday that the SSLC and higher secondary examination results for this year will be published on May 15 and May 22, respectively. He stated that revaluation applications will be invited soon after the results are declared, and the SSLC revaluation results are expected to be available by the end of May.
Action Against Teachers Skipping Valuation Duty
The minister said the department has issued instructions to take action against over 2,000 teachers who failed to report for paper valuation duty. This move aims to ensure accountability and timely completion of the evaluation process.
Second-Chance Exam and Subject Minimum Reintroduced
Sivankutty also informed that the second-chance examination for students who did not secure the minimum marks in the annual exams was conducted on April 27. He emphasized that the subject minimum requirement has been reintroduced in government and aided schools to address the decline in academic standards. The promotion list for students who appeared for the retest will be published on May 2.
