The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Standard XII examination results on Wednesday, with a commerce student from Shantiniketan Junior College in Kolhapur emerging as the institute's topper. Aditya Amardeep Patil achieved an outstanding 97% score, securing the first position in his college.
Top Performers in Commerce Stream
Following closely behind Patil, Swaroop Sanjay Kadam secured the second position in the college with an impressive 96% score. Chavi Kamal Mittal claimed the third spot with 95.6% marks. Both Kadam and Mittal are also commerce students, highlighting the strong performance of the commerce stream at the institution.
Aditya Patil, son of Amardeep Patil who serves as the president of Kolhapur's Advertising Agencies and Media Association (AASMA), shared his academic journey. "I decided to pursue commerce and become a Chartered Accountant while still in school. I topped my school in Standard X. I used to play cricket for my school, but for the past two years, I have stopped and have been focusing entirely on my studies," said the young achiever.
Science and Arts Stream Achievements
In the science stream, Anisha Kishan Poptani scored 92.4%, followed by Aarya Abhijit Deshpande with 91.2% and Sana Maria Santosh with 90.2%. The arts stream also saw notable performances, with Yasholaxmi Bharatveersingh Deora achieving 90.2%, Diya Ravi Ahuja scoring 89.6%, and Medha Rajesh Latkar passing with 88.2% marks.
Jayashri Jadhav, the principal of Shantiniketan Junior College, attributed the students' success to the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff. "The personal attention provided by our teachers to each student played a crucial role in helping them achieve these excellent results," she stated.
