The Institute of Excellence in Management Science (IEMS) organized the North Karnataka Career Conclave 2026 on Monday in Hubballi. The event aimed to guide students on career paths and the importance of ethics.
Inaugural Address by Vice-Chancellor
Prof. Suresh Jangamashetti, Vice-Chancellor of Haveri University, inaugurated the programme. He emphasized that education and career should go hand in hand. 'The early selection of a career makes life easier. Following values and ethics brings changes in society. The nation requires leaders with humbleness,' he added.
Insights from UPSC Topper
Kiran Kamate, a UPSC state topper and engineer, shared his experience. He opined that hard work, dedication, patience, and endurance are the keys to success for cracking the UPSC exams. He motivated students to stay focused on their goals.
Teachers Association President's View
Motilal Rathod, President of the Teachers Association, KUD Zone, mentioned that success is a by-product of hard work and dedication. 'Society has given a lot of things to human beings, so it is our primary duty to serve society through the profession we choose,' he suggested.
Institute Chairman's Remarks
Institute Chairman and Chartered Accountant NA Charantimath highlighted that perseverance to reach goals, along with family and society, are the backbones of success in life. He encouraged students to stay determined.
Institute Director Veeranna DK, along with Preeti Belgaumkar, Preeti Goudar, Swapna Kamadolli, Vani, and 150 students from various degree colleges, were present at the conclave.
