Rahul Gandhi Slams Modi Govt Over NEET Paper Leak, CBSE Low Marks
Rahul Gandhi Attacks Modi Over NEET Leak, CBSE Issues

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, launched a scathing attack on the Narendra Modi government on Sunday, highlighting a series of failures in the education system. In a post on social media platform X, he pointed to three major issues affecting students across the country.

NEET Paper Leak Repeats in 2026

Gandhi noted that the NEET paper leak, which first occurred in 2024 affecting over 22 lakh students, has repeated itself in 2026. In 2024, the examination was not cancelled, the minister did not resign, the CBI conducted an investigation, and a committee was formed. In 2026, despite the paper leak, the examination was cancelled, but again the minister did not resign, the CBI is investigating once more, and another committee is expected to be formed.

CBSE Class 12 Low Marks Issue

Additionally, Gandhi highlighted that CBSE Class 12 students received unexpectedly low marks due to a broken OSM (Online Submission of Marks) system, causing many to lose their college eligibility. This has added to the distress of students and parents alike.

CBSE Class 9 Language Change

Further, lakhs of CBSE Class 9 students have been suddenly asked to learn a new language starting July 1, with no prior notice or preparation. Gandhi questioned the government's handling of these issues, demanding answers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Gandhi's remarks have reignited the debate on the state of education in India, with opposition parties calling for accountability and systemic reforms.
