SSC Announces Revised Vacancy Details for Delhi Police 2025 Recruitment Examinations

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), based in Prayagraj, has issued updated vacancy information for several Delhi Police recruitment examinations scheduled for 2025. This revision comes after fresh data was provided by the Delhi Police department, ensuring accuracy in the number of available posts while maintaining all previously stated terms and conditions.

Updated Vacancies for Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam-2025

For the Delhi Police head constable (ministerial) examination in 2025, the SSC has notified a total of 456 vacancies. This includes 306 posts reserved for male candidates and 150 posts for female candidates. The commission emphasized that this adjustment was made strictly in accordance with the latest figures furnished by Delhi Police, with no changes to eligibility criteria or other conditions from the original notification.

Revised Figures for Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele Printer Operator) Exam-2025

Similarly, the SSC has announced revised vacancies for the Delhi Police head constable (assistant wireless operator/tele printer operator) exam-2025. As per the updated list, recruitment will now be conducted for 443 posts, comprising 297 for male candidates and 146 for female candidates. This ensures a clear and current overview of opportunities for aspiring candidates.

New Vacancy Details for Constable (Driver) Male Exam-2025

In addition, the SSC has issued revised figures for the Delhi Police constable (driver) male exam-2025. Based on the latest report from Delhi Police, recruitment will be carried out for 660 posts. The breakdown of these vacancies is as follows:

  • Open Category (584 posts): 276 for General, 59 for EWS, 140 for OBC, 63 for SC, and 46 for ST candidates.
  • Ex-Servicemen Reserved (76 posts): 31 for General, 7 for EWS, 15 for OBC, 14 for SC, and 9 for ST categories.

Continuity of Existing Rules and Conditions

The commission has reiterated that, apart from the updated vacancy numbers, all other conditions, eligibility criteria, and rules specified in the previously published notices remain unchanged. This includes application procedures, exam patterns, and selection processes, providing consistency for candidates preparing for these recruitment drives.
