SSLC Exam-2 2025-26 Begins Monday Across Karnataka

The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination for the academic year 2025–26, known as exam-2, is set to commence on Monday across the state of Karnataka. The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced that the exams will be conducted at 358 designated centres throughout the state.

Registration Statistics

A total of 1,15,112 students have registered for this examination cycle. This includes 76,673 boys and 38,439 girls. The registered candidates hail from various types of educational institutions: 5,488 government schools, 3,250 aided schools, and 5,060 unaided schools.

Candidate Categories

Among the registered students, 11,881 have enrolled with the aim of improving their previous scores. Data released by KSEAB reveals that 61,205 regular freshers have registered for the exam, while 18,505 are private freshers. Additionally, 32,833 regular repeaters and 2,569 private repeaters are scheduled to appear for the examination.

Furthermore, KSEAB has noted that 7,658 students, who were unable to take the SSLC exam-1 earlier this year due to attendance shortage, have registered as private candidates for exam-2.

Examination Schedule

The SSLC exam-2 will continue until May 25. Students are advised to check their respective centre details and adhere to the examination guidelines issued by the board.
