The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has officially announced the results for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examination (IPASE) 2026. While a significant number of students have successfully cleared their backlog papers, some may feel that their obtained marks do not accurately reflect their performance. To address such concerns, the board has introduced a facility for candidates to apply for recounting and scanned copy-cum-reverification of their answer scripts. This service is available for both first-year and second-year students who appeared for the IPASE May/June 2026 examinations.
Recounting and Reverification Fees
Students who wish to apply for recounting will need to pay a fee of Rs 100 per paper. For those seeking a scanned copy of their answer script along with reverification, the fee is Rs 800 per paper. The process is designed to ensure transparency and provide students with an opportunity to review their evaluated answer sheets.
Important Dates
According to the board, applications for recounting and scanned copy-cum-reverification can be submitted from June 12 to June 18, 2026. The entire application process will be conducted online through the official website tgbie.cgg.gov.in. The board has emphasized that the online service will close after the deadline, and no manual applications will be accepted thereafter. Students are advised to submit their applications within the stipulated time frame to avoid any inconvenience.
How to Apply
Students can submit their applications through the Student Online Services section on the TGBIE website. While applying, candidates must select the subject or subjects for which they want recounting or reverification. They are also required to provide their complete address, email ID, and mobile number. It is important to ensure that all details are accurate to avoid any issues during the process.
Next Steps: EAPCET and DOST Admissions
Students who have now passed the supplementary examinations should keep important documents ready, including their marks memo, transfer certificate, study certificates, identity proof, and photographs. These documents may be required for admission and counselling processes in the coming weeks.
Candidates planning to pursue undergraduate courses should regularly check official admission portals and counselling notifications. Students who were waiting for supplementary results may now become eligible to proceed with admission formalities, subject to the requirements of the respective courses and institutions.
Students who cleared the supplementary exams can still participate in EAPCET counselling starting from June 19. They must submit their passing certificate before the final certificate verification deadline of July 29, 2026; otherwise, their admission will be cancelled. Similarly, for DOST (Degree) admissions, students who have not been allotted any seat in the second allotment will be able to apply for TS DOST phase 3 registration 2026 from May 31.
