The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET June 2026 answer key shortly on its official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the provisional answer key and raise objections if they find discrepancies.
How to Check and Raise Objections
To access the answer key, candidates need to visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click on the link for the UGC NET June 2026 answer key. They must enter their application number and date of birth to log in. The answer key will be displayed on the screen, and candidates can download it for reference.
If a candidate believes an answer is incorrect, they can submit an objection online through the same portal. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question is charged for each objection. The NTA will review all challenges, and if an objection is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly.
Important Dates and Details
The exact date for the answer key release has not been announced yet, but it is expected within two weeks after the exam. The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted from July 1 to July 10, 2026, in multiple shifts. The final answer key will be used to compute the results.
According to an NTA official, "The provisional answer key will be released soon. Candidates should keep checking the official website for updates." The NTA also advises candidates to use only the official website for any corrections.
