The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh, will close the online application process for the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) 2026 today, May 17, 2026. Candidates aspiring to secure admission into diploma courses at government, aided, and private polytechnic institutions across the state must submit their forms via the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, before the deadline.
Important Dates and Exam Schedule
Admit cards for successfully registered candidates will be released on May 25, 2026. The entrance examination, covering groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, and K1 to K8, will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode from June 2 to June 9, 2026. Candidates must follow the instructions on their admit cards and report as per the allotted schedule.
Eligibility and Application Fee
Students who have passed Class 10 or are appearing this year are eligible to apply. The application fee for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is Rs 300, while Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates pay Rs 200. Payments can be made online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
Steps to Apply
- Visit the official JEECUP portal and click on the 'Online Application Form for UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026' link on the homepage.
- Register with basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Enter educational details, upload photograph, signature, and required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
Correction Facility
The council will later open a form correction window, allowing candidates to rectify errors in personal details, educational qualifications, and uploaded documents.
The Council advises applicants to complete registration early to avoid technical issues, including server problems during the final hours.
