Mysuru: Manasa, a visually impaired student of Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Differently Abled (RMSD), has achieved an outstanding score of 617 out of 625 in the SSLC examination. Her remarkable performance stands as a quiet yet powerful testament to her determination and hard work.
Background and Family
Manasa comes from a low-income background and is raised by her mother, Sujatha, a daily wage labourer. Despite financial hardships, Manasa has remained a consistent academic performer since joining RMSD in 2021 in class 6. Her dedication has earned her the respect of both teachers and peers.
Extracurricular Activities
Beyond academics, Manasa actively participates in extracurricular activities such as blind cricket, chess, and relay events. Dancing and reading are among her favourite pastimes, showcasing her well-rounded personality.
Support and Recognition
The school headmaster, Paramesh, described Manasa as an intelligent student with a positive outlook on life. Her grandfather, Mahadeva Shetty of Raghavapura in Gundlupet taluk, shared that Manasa lost her father six years ago, adding to the challenges she has overcome.
Future Aspirations
Clear about her future goals, Manasa aspires to become an IAS officer. "I want to serve the nation," she said, underscoring her belief that determination can overcome any obstacle. Her story serves as an inspiration to many, proving that with perseverance, one can achieve greatness regardless of circumstances.
