The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially declared the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination results for the academic year 2025-2026. Students who appeared for the exams can now check their scores on the official website at result.wb.gov.in. The results were announced on May 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Overall Pass Percentage
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 85.67%, marking a slight increase from last year's 84.92%. A total of 7,98,452 students appeared for the exams, out of which 6,84,123 have successfully cleared the examination. The pass percentage for female students is 87.23%, while male students recorded a pass percentage of 84.11%.

- Click on the link titled 'WBCHSE HS Result 2026'
- Enter your roll number and registration number
- Click on 'Submit' to view your result
- Download and take a printout of the result for future reference
Subject-wise Performance
The highest pass percentage was recorded in English with 92.34%, followed by Bengali at 89.56%. Subjects like Mathematics and Physics saw pass percentages of 78.45% and 76.23% respectively. The lowest pass percentage was in Computer Science with 68.90%.
Toppers and Merit List
The top three students in the state have secured an aggregate of 99.2%, 98.8%, and 98.6% respectively. The detailed merit list will be available on the official website soon. Students are advised to check the website regularly for updates.
