Surat Students Achieve Remarkable Success in Chartered Accountant Examinations

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results for the Chartered Accountant (CA) Foundation and Intermediate examinations on Sunday, revealing outstanding performances by students from Surat. Multiple candidates secured prestigious All India Ranks (AIR), demonstrating exceptional academic prowess in these highly competitive professional exams.

Top Rank Holders from Surat Showcase Excellence

In the CA Foundation examination, Raghav Gupta achieved an impressive All India Rank 3 with a remarkable score of 361 out of 400 marks. Gupta expressed satisfaction with his achievement while noting he narrowly missed the second position by just a few marks. His performance sets a high benchmark for aspiring chartered accountants across the country.

The CA Intermediate examination saw even more spectacular results from Surat students. Prakshal Jain secured All India Rank 4 with an excellent score of 494 out of 600 marks, placing him among the nation's top performers. Panth Radadiya followed closely with AIR 14, scoring 461 marks, while Vivek Jain earned AIR 25 with 447 marks, ensuring three Surat students ranked within the prestigious top 50 nationwide.

Inspiring Stories Behind the Academic Triumphs

Panth Radadiya's achievement carries particular emotional significance as he persevered through personal tragedy during his preparation. Radadiya revealed that his father passed away while he was studying for the exams, making his AIR 14 accomplishment especially meaningful. "My father encouraged me to pursue CA as a career path. He would have been the happiest person today seeing my All India Rank 14," Radadiya shared, highlighting the dedication and resilience required for such academic success.

Strong Overall Performance from Surat Candidates

Rahul Agrawal, chairman of the ICAI Surat branch, provided comprehensive statistics demonstrating the city's strong performance. Out of 1,064 students who appeared for the Intermediate examination from Surat, 123 candidates successfully cleared both groups. For single-group candidates, the results showed promising pass rates: 1,005 students appeared for Group I with 190 passing, while 466 appeared for Group II with 96 clearing the examination.

These results reflect not only individual excellence but also the quality of chartered accountancy education and preparation available in Surat. The city continues to produce top-tier financial professionals who contribute significantly to India's economic landscape through their expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial management.
