Teachers' Workshop on Holistic Academic Development Begins in Alampur

A three-day teachers’ capacity building workshop, organised by the Regional Training Centre, commenced at DAV Public School, Alampur. Motivational speaker Gaurav Oberoi delivered an inspiring session on ‘Holistic Academic Development’. He encouraged teachers to adopt innovative teaching methodologies, maintain a positive approach towards classroom teaching and design learning experiences according to the interests and abilities of students so that every learner can achieve excellence.

Participating Schools and Sessions

Teachers from seven DAV schools in Himachal Pradesh Zone-B participated enthusiastically in the workshop. The participating schools included DAV Public School, Alampur; DAV Public School, Nagrota Surian; DAV Public School, Tiara; DAV Public School, Ghumarwin; DAV Public School, Bilaspur; DAV Public School, Lambagaon; and DAV Public School, Chalwara.

The workshop comprised six academic sessions covering themes such as gender sensitisation, NCF-SE, innovative classroom activities, strategies for developing reading and writing skills, and making grammar teaching engaging through activity-based and game-based learning.

Felicitations and Honours

Host Principal Surjeet Kumar Rana felicitated the participating principals with bouquets and green saplings.
