An unidentified man was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances in a room near Parshuram Park in the upscale Hargobind Nagar locality of Phagwara on Saturday afternoon, according to local police. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the man's identity and the cause of death.
Discovery and Police Response
Police received information about the body after residents noticed an unconscious person lying in an unused room situated near Parshuram Park, close to the Blood Bank in Guru Hargobind Nagar area. A police team immediately arrived at the scene, secured the area, and took possession of the body.
Following preliminary legal formalities, the body was transported to the mortuary of the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The police have not yet released any details about possible foul play or the estimated time of death.
