A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Patna, where a 17-year-old student, Lakshya Bhardwaj, died after suddenly collapsing during a class at a premier coaching centre in the Old Bypass locality under the Kankerbagh police station area. The teenager, a resident of Madhepura district, had been living in the Kankarbagh area while preparing for his Class XII board exams and competitive examinations.
Incident Details
According to a statement issued by the police, the teenager collapsed while studying in the classroom at the coaching institute around 9 am. The coaching staff immediately rushed him to a prominent hospital in Kankarbagh, where he was declared dead during treatment at approximately 11 am. The coaching staff informed his family about the unfortunate incident.
Police Investigation
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Kankarbagh Additional SHO Anil Kumar stated, "The forensic team was called to the coaching centre to collect evidence." He added that the exact cause of death would be determined after the postmortem report is received.
