CSJMU Exams Begin with 6,918 Students, No Cheating

The even semester examinations for Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) commenced on Saturday, with a total of 6,918 students appearing for 137 papers across two shifts. The university reported that no incidents of cheating were detected during the exams.

Exam Details

In the first shift, examinations for the second semester were conducted, with 5,104 students appearing for 106 papers. The second shift saw 1,814 students taking exams for 31 papers related to the sixth semester. The university also noted that 40 students were absent from the even semester examinations.

Security Measures

Examination controller B P Singh stated that the examinations were held under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. A control room was established at the campus's computer center, from which both shifts were monitored via live feeds. Additionally, flying squads conducted surprise inspections at various examination centers.

Invigilators were deployed across all centers. During the inspections, teams visited classrooms and performed thorough searches of students. The authorities confirmed that not a single student was caught cheating.
