New Delhi: Delhi University has commenced the registration process for its two-year postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. Admissions for one-year PG courses will begin shortly on a separate portal, following the National Education Policy (NEP) framework.
Registration Details
Registrations for two-year MA and other PG programmes began on May 16 and will remain open until June 7 at 11:59 pm through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG) portal. Admissions will be based solely on scores obtained in CUET (PG) 2026, making it essential for applicants to have appeared in the relevant test papers and meet programme-specific eligibility criteria listed in the university’s PG bulletin of information.
Eligibility and Fee Structure
Students currently in the third or fourth year of their undergraduate programmes are eligible to apply for two-year master’s courses, provided they fulfill the academic requirements. The university has clarified that seat allocation will be conducted centrally through the CSAS portal, with no weightage given to undergraduate marks beyond minimum eligibility.
The application fee is set at Rs 250 per programme for candidates in the UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, and Rs 100 per programme for SC, ST, and PwBD applicants. The fee is non-refundable.
New Auto-Integration Feature
DU has introduced an auto-integration feature using DigiLocker and API Setu to simplify the application process. This allows candidates’ personal details—including name, date of birth, category, and CUET scores—to be fetched directly from official databases, reducing errors and duplication while improving data security.
One-Year PG Programmes
The university said admissions for one-year postgraduate programmes will be announced shortly. These courses will be open primarily to students completing a four-year undergraduate degree under NEP, especially those with a major in the relevant subject or a research track.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official admission website for updates on schedules, eligibility criteria, and admission lists.
