Verification Process at Block Level
According to an official notice issued by the department, the verification process is being conducted at the level of Block Level Education Officers (BEOs) through designated committees constituted specifically for RTE admissions. Authorities have emphasized that verification of submitted information is essential to validate each application. The Block Level Committees have been assigned the responsibility to examine original documents submitted during registration. These committees operate under the supervision of BEOs to ensure uniformity and accuracy in the process.
Concerns Over Applicant Absence
During preliminary analysis, officials observed that a considerable number of applicants and parents have not appeared before the concerned committees for verification. The absence of applicants at this stage has been flagged as a significant concern in the ongoing admission cycle. The notice clearly states that document verification is compulsory for all candidates applying under the RTE provisions.
