The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the admit card for the Apprentice recruitment examination for the year 2026. Eligible candidates who applied for the post can now download their hall tickets from the official website at sbi.co.in. The examination is scheduled to be conducted in July 2026 across various centres in India.
How to Download SBI Apprentice Admit Card 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to download the admit card:
- Visit the official SBI website at sbi.co.in.
- Navigate to the Careers section and click on the relevant notification for Apprentice recruitment.
- Click on the link for downloading the admit card.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth or password.
- Submit and download the admit card. Take a printout for future reference.
According to the official notification, candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card to the exam centre. The ID proof can be Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or passport.
Exam Pattern and Paper Details
The SBI Apprentice examination will be conducted in online mode (computer-based test). The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions from subjects such as General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes. There will be negative marking for wrong answers, with 1/4th mark deducted for each incorrect response.
As per the official guidelines, the exam will have 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The sectional distribution is as follows: General Awareness (30 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions), Reasoning Ability (30 questions), and English Language (10 questions).
Exam Centre and Guidelines
Candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. No entry will be allowed after the commencement of the exam. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, time, and venue. Candidates should check all details carefully and report any discrepancies to SBI immediately.
Items like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates are advised to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols if applicable.
Selection Process and Next Steps
The selection process for SBI Apprentice consists of a written exam followed by a local language test. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the language test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the written exam. According to SBI, the apprenticeship period is for one year, and selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the bank's norms.
