NEET UG Re-Exam Answer Key 2026 Released
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates who appeared for the re-exam can now access the answer key on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The re-exam was conducted for candidates who faced irregularities during the original exam held earlier this month.
How to Download the Answer Key
To download the NEET UG re-exam answer key 2026, candidates need to follow these steps: Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in, click on the link for 'NEET UG Re-Exam Answer Key 2026', enter their application number and date of birth, and submit. The answer key will be displayed on the screen, which can be downloaded and printed for future reference.
Objection Window Open Until June 28
The NTA has opened an objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answers in the provisional key. Objections can be submitted online through the official website until June 28, 2026. A fee of Rs. 200 per question will be charged for each objection. The final answer key will be released after reviewing the objections.
According to an NTA official, "The provisional answer key has been prepared by a panel of subject experts. Candidates are advised to carefully review the key and submit their objections if any discrepancies are found."
Details of the Re-Exam
The NEET UG re-examination was held on June 20, 2026, for approximately 1,200 candidates across 15 centers. The re-exam was ordered by the Supreme Court following allegations of paper leaks and malpractices in the original exam. The results of the re-exam are expected to be declared in the first week of July 2026.
