SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Starts Tomorrow: Full Guidelines

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially commenced the examination process for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025, with the highly anticipated Tier 1 exam set to begin across India. Aspirants must now focus their attention on the final preparations and crucial exam day protocols to ensure a smooth testing experience.

SSC CHSL 2025: Exam Schedule and Shift Details

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Examination 2025 is scheduled to start on November 12. The computer-based test will be conducted in three separate shifts each day at various examination centers located throughout the country. Candidates must report to their designated center well before their allocated shift time.

The detailed shift timings are as follows:

  • First Shift: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Second Shift: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
  • Third Shift: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

It is critical for candidates to double-check the specific date, time, and venue mentioned on their individual admit card to avoid any confusion.

Mandatory Documents and Pre-Exam Checklist

Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof and recent passport-size photographs to the examination hall. Acceptable forms of ID include Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, or any other government-issued photo identification.

Before leaving for the exam center, aspirants are strongly advised to thoroughly verify all the details printed on their admission certificate. This includes their full name, roll number, ticket number, exam date, time, and the exact venue address. If any discrepancy or error is found in the personal information, it is essential to contact the respective SSC regional office immediately for corrections.

Strict Exam Day Guidelines and Protocols

The Staff Selection Commission has issued a comprehensive set of instructions that must be strictly followed by all candidates. Adherence to these rules is non-negotiable for being allowed to take the exam.

Candidates are advised to report to their respective examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. The entry gates will be closed precisely 30 minutes prior to the exam commencement, and no latecomers will be permitted entry under any circumstances. Furthermore, once inside, no candidate will be allowed to leave the venue until the examination has concluded.

The seating arrangement at the center will be organized according to the ticket number provided on the admit card. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their photo-bearing admit card. They will also be required to sign and provide their left thumb impression in the designated space on the attendance sheet.

Items such as books, notes, mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of such items or engaged in malpractices like cheating or assisting others will be disqualified from the examination and may face further legal action.

For filling out the answer sheet, candidates must use only a black ink pen or a black ball-point pen. This applies to filling Part A and Part B of Side 1, as well as Side 2 of the OMR answer sheet. All rough work must be done exclusively on the test booklet or question paper provided. Making any marks or doing rough work on the answer sheet is strictly forbidden and may result in the sheet not being evaluated by the machine.

Handling the OMR answer sheet with care is paramount. Candidates must ensure the sheet is not damaged, torn, or folded excessively, as this could prevent it from being processed during the automated evaluation. After completing the test, the answer sheet must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the hall. Attempting to take the answer sheet or question paper out of the examination room will lead to immediate disqualification.

Finally, all instructions given by the exam supervisor and invigilators must be followed diligently throughout the duration of the test. For regular updates and further information, SSC exam aspirants can follow the official SSC website and trusted education portals.
