Ceremony Honors 741 Graduates with Degrees and Medals

The prestigious event witnessed a total of 741 students receiving bachelor's and master's degrees, including 17 gold medallists and 14 PhD recipients who were recognized for their academic excellence.

"Young friends with degrees, postgraduate degrees and PhDs, your new life begins now," declared Swami Gyanvatsal. "Ahead lie opportunities, career choices and social as well as personal challenges. Among the honorees, Tanvi Sanjay Desai was awarded a gold medal for her outstanding contributions to research, highlighting the university's commitment to academic achievement.

In a parallel educational celebration, the 31st convocation of Govt Polytechnic, Kolhapur was also conducted on Tuesday, where 428 students received diploma certificates across diverse disciplines.

Expert Advice on Skill Development in AI Era

Entrepreneur Sameer Parikh, serving as the chief guest at the polytechnic convocation, advised students to prioritize continuous skill development to remain relevant in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape.

"Only by consistently upgrading your skills can you find your place in the AI-driven world," Parikh emphasized. "Approach problems positively to develop solutions through experience. While the IT sector is shifting towards AI, the manufacturing sector still offers vast opportunities."

He added that India currently ranks second only to China in casting, highlighting the nation's growing industrial capabilities and the promising career pathways available to technically skilled graduates.
