The minister specifically highlighted that education should encompass moral values, social responsibility, and practical life skills. He urged educational institutions to create environments where students can develop into well-rounded individuals capable of facing real-world challenges.

Practical Skills and Social Responsibility

Minister Thakur placed significant emphasis on the importance of practical knowledge and social awareness. He encouraged students to actively participate in community activities and develop a strong sense of social responsibility alongside their academic pursuits.

The event, organized under the theme 'Udaan,' saw the minister congratulating all the students who received awards for their outstanding achievements. He specifically acknowledged the efforts of school principal Dr. R.S. Slathia and the entire teaching staff for their dedication to providing quality education.

Government's Commitment to Educational Excellence

The Himachal Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has made education a top priority. Minister Thakur reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening the state's education system and ensuring that students receive comprehensive training that prepares them for all aspects of life.

He emphasized that the government is working diligently to create an educational environment where students can thrive academically while simultaneously developing the character and skills needed to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

The minister's address concluded with a strong message to students: "While academic knowledge opens doors, life skills and values determine how successfully you walk through them." This philosophy underpins the government's approach to creating a more balanced and effective education system in Himachal Pradesh.
