HPU Students Undergo Intensive Training in High-Frequency Electronics
Students from the University Institute of Technology (UIT) at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) have recently enhanced their technical skills through a specialized three-day hands-on workshop. The program, titled "Ansys Solution for High Frequency Applications," was organized by the Centre for AI on Cyber Physical Systems under the institution's Innovation Council.
Practical Learning and Expert Guidance
The workshop provided participants with in-depth practical knowledge of high-frequency electronics and advanced simulation tools. Kapil Bhatt, Tarun Sharma, and Richa Chandel served as instructors, guiding students throughout the sessions. They introduced the Ansys HFSS software, a leading tool for electromagnetic simulation, covering key aspects such as:
- Electromagnetic simulation techniques and solvers
- Workflow processes for high-frequency applications
- Antenna design and analysis methodologies
- Concepts of signal and power integrity
This comprehensive curriculum aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, preparing students for careers in electronics and telecommunications.
Hands-On Sessions and Skill Enhancement
A significant component of the workshop involved hands-on practical sessions, where students actively worked with the Ansys HFSS software. These interactive exercises allowed them to apply theoretical concepts, thereby solidifying their understanding through direct implementation. The experience is expected to boost their proficiency in designing and analyzing high-frequency electronic systems, a critical skill in today's technology-driven industries.
The initiative underscores HPU's commitment to fostering innovation and practical education, equipping students with cutting-edge tools to excel in the competitive field of electronics engineering.
