IIT Kanpur and Power Foundation of India Forge Strategic Partnership for Power Sector Excellence

The two entities have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the PFI Distinguished Chair Professorship on Power Sector Regulation and Policy at IIT-K.

The MoU was formally signed by Anshuman Srivastava, Executive Director of PFI, and Prof Raja Angamuthu, who serves as the Associate Dean (Research & Development) and is currently acting as the Dean of Resources & Alumni at IIT Kanpur. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Himanshu Chawla, Head of Regulatory & Research at PFI, and Nidhi Varma, Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Dean of Resources & Alumni at IIT Kanpur. Their presence underscores the commitment of both organizations to this strategic alliance.
Prof Raja Angamuthu emphasized the importance of this MoU, stating that it will significantly strengthen IIT Kanpur's engagement in the energy domain.
