IIT Kanpur Convenes Major Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Workshop to Boost Rural Development
In a significant push for rural advancement, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) recently hosted an orientation and brainstorming session for participating institutes under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative. This gathering brought together academic institutions, development partners, funding agencies, and volunteers on a unified platform to deliberate on critical issues related to rural development through collaboration and innovation.

The one-day workshop saw robust attendance, with over 40 institutions from more than 17 districts associated with IIT Kanpur participating actively. During the session, Prof. Sandeep Sangal, the UBA Coordinator at IIT Kanpur, delivered a motivational speech that traced the journey of UBA at the institute.
