Patna University Unveils Advanced Digital Studio to Revolutionize Online Education

In a significant move to enhance digital learning, Patna University (PU) inaugurated a cutting-edge digital studio at Patna Science College on Saturday. The facility, launched by PU vice-chancellor Ajay Kumar Singh, aims to strengthen online education and digital content creation for undergraduate and postgraduate students across the institution.

Funding and Infrastructure Under RUSA Initiative

Developed with financial support from the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), this state-of-the-art studio is equipped to record and upload high-quality lectures and study materials. Vice-chancellor Ajay Kumar Singh emphasized the studio's relevance in the digital era, noting it will enable students to access online classes more effectively and interact with peers from other universities nationwide.

Alignment with National Education Policy 2020

Bihar State University Service Commission chairman Girish Kumar Chaudhary highlighted that the studio will support curriculum-based lectures aligned with the National Education Policy, 2020. He added that recorded lectures will be available online for students to access at their convenience, urging faculty members to maximize the use of this new resource.

Future Plans and Academic Collaboration

Digital studio's professor-in-charge Atul Aditya Pandey announced that a lecture recording format will soon be prepared in consultation with heads of postgraduate departments. The studio is also set to host lectures by eminent educationists from across the country, fostering broader academic collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The inauguration event was attended by key officials, including PU IQAC director Birendra Prasad, PU registrar Shalini, Patna Science College principal Alka, along with heads of postgraduate departments, principals, and faculty members, showcasing strong institutional backing for this digital initiative.
