Rajasthan Staff Selection Board Simplifies Application Process with New OTR Guidelines
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has rolled out comprehensive guidelines to assist candidates encountering challenges with the one-time registration (OTR) system during the application process. These new directives aim to streamline the submission of forms and enhance user experience for aspirants across the state.
Enhanced Flexibility with One-Time Edit and Delete Options
In a significant move, the RSSB has introduced one-time edit and delete functionalities specifically for the education details section on the document details page. This feature empowers candidates to modify or update their educational information that was initially entered manually. The board emphasizes that this option is designed to correct any inaccuracies or omissions, ensuring that all submitted data is precise and up-to-date.
Addressing DigiLocker Integration Issues
The guidelines provide clear steps for candidates facing issues with DigiLocker integration. If incorrect details or mark sheets are being fetched from DigiLocker, candidates are advised to first visit the DigiLocker portal to update their mark sheet and related information. Should the details remain incorrect even after updating DigiLocker, candidates have the option to manually upload the required documents. This dual approach ensures that technical glitches do not hinder the application process.
Post-Deadline Assistance and Support Channels
For candidates who have missed the edit deadline for their application forms, the RSSB has outlined a support mechanism. If the application form has been finally submitted and the edit window has closed, any subsequent additions or updates to the education section will not be reflected in that form. In such scenarios, candidates are instructed to contact the concerned department directly for further assistance.
RSSB chairperson, Maj. Gen (retired) Alok Raj, highlighted the board's commitment to candidate support. He stated, "All aspiring candidates are requested that if they are facing any difficulty in filling out the online form or uploading documents in the OTR, they can inform us through email at recruitmenthelpdesk@rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates are requested to add their mobile number too." This email support system is intended to provide personalized help and resolve issues promptly.
Verification Status and Application Eligibility
The board has also clarified the rules regarding document verification status. Candidates are permitted to proceed with filling out their application forms even if their documents are pending verification or are only partially verified. Importantly, no candidate will be restricted from applying due to these statuses. However, the RSSB stresses that all information saved by the candidate must be correct and accurate, underscoring the importance of diligence in the application process.
These guidelines reflect the RSSB's proactive approach to addressing common pain points in the OTR system, ultimately aiming to make the recruitment process more accessible and user-friendly for all applicants in Rajasthan.
