Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav Addresses Youth at Dr C V Raman University Convocation
State Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav attended the convocation ceremony of Dr C V Raman University in Patna on Monday as the chief guest, delivering an inspiring address to the graduating students. The event was also graced by University Chairman Santosh Chaubey and Deputy Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Narendra Narayan Yadav, among other dignitaries.
Youth as Architects of Tomorrow's India
In his keynote speech, Minister Yadav passionately underlined the critical role of youth in nation-building, stating, “Youth are the foundation of national progress and today’s students are the architects of tomorrow’s India.” He urged the graduates to focus on innovation and skill development to remain relevant in a rapidly changing global landscape, emphasizing the need for continuous learning and adaptation.
Launch of AI Literacy Meet and Educational Initiatives
During the ceremony, AISECT Group Secretary Siddharth Chaturvedi announced the launch of an AI Literacy Meet, aimed at addressing the growing demand for technological preparedness among students and professionals. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements in the field of artificial intelligence.
University Chairman Santosh Chaubey highlighted the group's proactive step to publish technical textbooks in Hindi, enhancing educational accessibility for a wider audience. This move is expected to democratize learning and empower students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Convocation Highlights and New Publications
The university administration released its annual report, newsletter, and a convocation souvenir as part of the event. Two significant new publications were formally launched: “Vaishali: History, Culture and Heritage” and “A Textbook of Engineering and Mathematics (Part-C).” These works aim to enrich academic resources and promote regional cultural studies.
Deputy Speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav described the convocation as the beginning of the graduates' social responsibility, encouraging them to contribute positively to society. Actor Ashish Vidyarthi delivered a motivational address, stressing the importance of perseverance and maintaining a positive professional outlook in the face of challenges.
Institutional Progress and Industry Collaboration
Vice-Chancellor Samit Tiwari presented the university report, outlining institutional progress and future research roadmaps. Registrar Brijesh Singh spoke on the implementation of industry-oriented curricula, ensuring that academic programs align with market demands and enhance employability.
The event was attended by notable figures including CIPET Director Upendra Pal Singh and Bihar Chair of the PHD Chamber of Commerce Kumud Kumar, underscoring the collaborative spirit between academia, industry, and government.
