CBSE Class 12 Marks Upload Portal Now Active for West Asia Schools
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially launched its online platform for uploading Class 12 marks, specifically targeting schools in West Asian countries. This activation, effective as of April 8, 2026, marks a critical step in the board's preparations for the upcoming 2026 Class 12 results. Principals and teachers across the region now have secure access to submit student marks through dedicated school logins, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process.
Portal Availability and Strict Deadlines
The online portal will remain operational from today until April 17, 2026. CBSE has issued a clear directive that all schools must complete the marks upload within this specified timeframe. Importantly, the board has emphasized that no corrections will be permitted once entries are submitted. This underscores the necessity for accuracy during the upload process, as any mistakes or omissions cannot be rectified at a later stage, potentially impacting the integrity of the results.
Coordination with Indian Diplomatic Missions
To ensure uniform procedures and adherence to timelines, CBSE has circulated the notification to Indian embassies and consulates throughout West Asia. This includes key countries such as:
- United Arab Emirates
- Saudi Arabia
- Oman
- Qatar
- Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Iran
This coordination aims to support CBSE-affiliated schools in the region, facilitating a consistent approach to the 2026 Class 12 result preparation and maintaining alignment with the board's standards.
Exams for Sports Participants
In a related development, students who are participating in national and international sports events will still be required to appear for their Class 12 exams. These exams are scheduled for April 11 and April 13, 2026, with sessions running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Fresh admit cards have been issued to these students, and they must carry these documents to their designated examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the tests.
Adherence to Instructions and Previous Notifications
CBSE has reiterated the importance of strict compliance with all procedural instructions. Schools are advised to carefully review notification-2, which was issued on March 27, 2026, as it outlines the assessment scheme and detailed procedures for the year. The board expects all institutions to follow these guidelines meticulously, completing uploads accurately and on schedule to guarantee the timely and reliable release of the 2026 Class 12 results across West Asia.
This initiative reflects CBSE's ongoing efforts to enhance digital infrastructure and support its global network of schools, particularly in regions with significant Indian student populations. By leveraging technology and diplomatic channels, the board aims to streamline administrative processes and uphold the quality of education assessment.
