A tragic incident has shaken the Raidih area of Gumla district in Jharkhand, where an 18-year-old Class XI student died by suicide on Tuesday. The young woman, identified as Ayesha Kumari, was a student of the SS+ 2 School in Raidih.

Ayesha Kumari did not attend school on Tuesday, the day of the incident. She reportedly informed her classmates that she intended to visit a park in Gumla. However, instead of going out, she remained alone in her rented accommodation located in Raidih.

It was in this room that she took her own life. The teenager lived in the house with two of her classmates, sharing the space for the past six months, according to her mother, Raatrani Devi.

Police Investigation and Family's Anguish

Officer in-charge of the Raidih police station, Sandeep Kumar, confirmed the details on Wednesday. He stated that Ayesha's roommates were not present at home when the unfortunate event occurred.

The police are probing all angles to understand the circumstances that led to this extreme step. Following the completion of the autopsy procedure on Wednesday, Ayesha's body was handed over to her grieving family.
