Chatrabhuj Narsee School Hosts Vibrant Easter and Spring Carnival in Pune
A dynamic celebration of creativity, community spirit, and youthful entrepreneurship unfolded at Chatrabhuj Narsee School in Amanora, Pune, on April 4, 2026. The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for the 2025–26 academic year organized the highly anticipated Easter and Spring Carnival, which attracted nearly 1,500 attendees and transformed the school campus into a bustling festive venue reminiscent of a traditional fairground.
Inauguration and Festive Highlights
The event commenced with a unique and engaging inauguration ceremony led by Chairman Sujay Jairaj and Principal Shruti Kotian. They performed an Eggbuster ribbon-cutting, where children emerged from oversized decorative eggs dressed as butterflies and sunflowers, delighting the audience and setting a joyful tone for the day.
Stalls and Activities
Featuring over 50 diverse stalls, the carnival offered a rich array of entertainment, culinary delights, and interactive experiences. Key attractions included:
- A Paint the BMW activity in collaboration with Bavaria Motors, which saw enthusiastic participation from both children and adults.
- Stalls from renowned brands such as Domino’s, Cult, and NIC Ice Cream, alongside local home bakers, providing a variety of food and treats.
- The Kidpreneurs initiative, where 40 students managed 16 stalls, gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship and financial literacy. These young entrepreneurs were awarded medals by school leaders and PTA members in recognition of their creativity and effort.
Special Features and Community Support
The carnival also featured a massive Easter egg hunt with over 5,000 eggs, ensuring excitement for children of all ages. The event was supported by sponsors including Mediqua Korea and Indus Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., with co-sponsorship from Enrich Solar and PJR Odyssey, highlighting a strong collaborative community spirit.
Impact and Organization
Organized seamlessly by the PTA 2025–26, the Easter and Spring Carnival not only provided entertainment but also fostered learning, engagement, and togetherness among participants. It created lasting memories and reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic development and community involvement.
