Shreejit Vaibhav Gadgil, a student at Dr K B Hedgewar High School in Valpoi, has earned a special honor. He will represent Goa in the upcoming Pariksha Pe Charcha interactive session with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
What is Pariksha Pe Charcha?
Pariksha Pe Charcha is a flagship initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It creates a direct platform for students, teachers, and parents. They can discuss pressing issues like examination pressures, stress management techniques, and effective learning methods.
The Rigorous Selection Journey
The selection process was highly competitive and multi-layered. It began with an online MCQ competition hosted on a government portal. This competition ran from December 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026. It was open to teachers, parents, and students from Class VI to XII across the nation.
Following this, schools in Goa had to submit special one-minute videos. Each school sent videos featuring two students answering specific questions. The Goa State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) collected these submissions.
From the pool of entries, the state was tasked with selecting the ten best one-minute videos. These top videos were then forwarded to the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for the next round.
The Final Hurdle and Recognition
Two Goan students made it to the critical shortlist. They were Shreejit Gadgil and Prachi Lokar from Govt High School in Dayanand Nagar, Dharbandora. The final selection was determined through an online interaction. Officials from the Union Ministry of Education conducted this decisive session.
Shreejit Gadgil's achievement has drawn official congratulations. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant personally commended the student for this notable accomplishment.
This selection highlights the talent within Goa's student community. It provides a young learner with a national platform to voice concerns and gain insights directly from the country's leadership.
