BSEH Postpones Haryana Class 12 Improvement Exam to Jan 21, 2026
Haryana Class 12 Improvement Exam Postponed to Jan 21

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially announced a postponement of the Senior Secondary (Class 12) Special Marks Improvement Examination. The tests, which were originally set to commence on January 6, 2026, will now begin from January 21, 2026 onwards.

Revised Schedule and Key Details

This crucial examination is intended for students from both the regular Academic stream and the Haryana Open School (HOS) system. The board has issued a public notice explicitly instructing students to disregard the previously announced timetable. A fresh and official date sheet for the rescheduled exams is expected to be published on the board's website, bseh.org.in, in the near future.

Earlier, BSEH had circulated a detailed schedule planning the Class 12 Special Partial Improvement Examination from January 6 to January 14, 2026. Exams were to be held in a single daily shift, typically from 12 noon to 3 PM, with some papers concluding at 2:30 PM due to a shorter duration.

Subjects Affected and Important Instructions

The wide range of subjects impacted by this change includes core disciplines like Hindi Core, English Core, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Accountancy, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, and Sanskrit, along with several elective papers. Multiple subjects with different codes were slated for the same day under the old plan.

BSEH has reiterated that all examinations will be conducted under strict vigilance. Students must remember to carry a valid admit card with an attested photograph to the test centre. The board maintains a strict prohibition on mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic gadgets inside the examination hall. Possession of such items can lead to an Unfair Means Case being filed against the candidate.

What Students Need to Do Next

With the postponement confirmed, students are advised to take the following steps immediately:

  • Ignore the earlier date sheet that listed exams starting from January 6, 2026.
  • Regularly monitor the official BSEH website, bseh.org.in, for the release of the revised date sheet and any further announcements.
  • Await the issuance of fresh admit cards, which will be released once the new official schedule is published.

Staying updated through the board's official channels is paramount to avoid any confusion regarding the new examination dates and procedures.
