The event took place under comprehensive security protocols to ensure a fair and orderly testing environment.
Elaborate Security Measures Implemented
Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri confirmed that the examination proceeded without any untoward incidents or instances of unfair practices. In a coordinated effort, the Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan issued a joint order deploying magistrates and police personnel at each centre. Their primary responsibilities included maintaining law and order and safeguarding the integrity of the examination process.
To further bolster security, police patrolling was intensified around the examination venues. Additionally, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Kumar Rajat enforced a prohibitory order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS). This order, effective from 7 am to 8 pm, restricted activities within a 200-meter radius of the centres, including:
- Gatherings of five or more persons
- Carrying of arms and ammunition
- Use of loudspeakers
- Public meetings
