This announcement comes after an earlier delay in the schedule, which was initially set for April 7, 2026. The postponement was necessitated by the enforcement of the election code of conduct, impacting the original timeline for result declaration.
Result Access Platforms and Digital Innovations
Students will be able to access their Karnataka 2nd PUC results online immediately upon release at 3 pm. The primary official website for checking results is karresults.nic.in. In addition to this, the board has arranged for results to be available through the KarnatakaOne mobile application, ensuring multiple access points to accommodate high traffic and provide convenience.
For the first time, the board will make marks cards available digitally via DigiLocker. Starting at 3 pm on the result day, students can download their marks cards from digilocker.gov.in. This initiative introduces an additional, secure mode for students to obtain their academic documents without physical copies.
Furthermore, the board will send results directly to students through registered mobile numbers via SMS or WhatsApp. This alternative method aims to reduce dependency on online portals and offer a quick, accessible way for candidates to receive their scores.

Over 7.10 lakh students appeared for the Karnataka II PU examinations this year. The breakdown across streams is as follows:
- Science stream: 2.92 lakh candidates
- Commerce stream: 2.11 lakh students
- Arts stream: 1.42 lakh candidates
