Presidency University Launches KCET Mock Test and Expert Webinar for Engineering Aspirants

Are you an engineering aspirant in Karnataka feeling uncertain about your career path? A new initiative aims to provide clarity and support. Presidency University, in partnership with The Times of India and Vijay Karnataka, is organizing an online mock test and webinar specifically designed for students preparing for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).

CET Prepmaster Mock Test: A Crucial Practice Opportunity

The centerpiece of this effort is the CET Prepmaster mock test, scheduled for April 20 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This simulated exam allows registered engineering candidates to thoroughly assess their preparation levels in a realistic test environment. Registrations are open until midnight on April 19, offering a limited window for enrollment.

Participants will benefit from detailed score reports provided after the test, enabling them to evaluate their performance, identify strengths, and pinpoint areas needing improvement. This feedback is invaluable for strategic study planning as the actual KCET approaches.

This virtual event will be streamed live on the Facebook pages of TOI Bangalore and VK, providing accessible insights for all interested students.

The webinar will feature a keynote address by Islauddin Gadyal, KAS, Administrative Officer of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), offering official perspectives on the examination process. Following this, a panel discussion will include:

  • Robin Rohit Vincent, Professor and Head of the Nvidia-CoE at Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Milind S Chippalkatti, National Head (Academics) at Deeksha Vedantu.

This session aims to demystify engineering as a career choice and provide actionable guidance on effective exam strategies.
