Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 Smashes Record with Over 4.3 Crore Registrations
PPC 2026 Crosses 4.3 Crore Registrations, Breaks Record

In a remarkable display of nationwide engagement, the Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 initiative has achieved a staggering milestone, crossing 4.30 crore (43 million) registrations. This impressive figure has already surpassed the previous year's Guinness World Record of 3.53 crore registrations, setting a new benchmark for the popular interactive program.

Breaking Down the Record-Breaking Numbers

As per the latest official data released on January 11, 2026, the total number of participants stood at a colossal 4,30,18,173. A deep dive into the demographics reveals that students form the overwhelming majority, with 4,00,41,236 registrations. They are followed by 24,03,234 teachers and 5,73,703 parents, highlighting the program's wide-reaching impact across the educational ecosystem.

The registrations for PPC 2026 opened on December 1, and the window officially closed at midnight on January 11, 2026. The event itself is scheduled to be held later in January 2026, with the exact dates to be announced by the authorities.

How to Participate and the Selection Process

Eligibility for the program extends to students from Classes 6 to 12, along with their teachers and parents. The registration process was conducted online through the official portal, innovateindia1.mygov.in. Participants were required to sign up using a mobile number or email ID, select their category, and engage in an MCQ-based activity.

This activity involves submitting questions or responses related to examinations, learning methodologies, and managing academic stress. A participation certificate is issued upon successful completion. The responses gathered through this process form the crux of the selection mechanism. A curated set of questions and suggestions from students, teachers, and parents will be shortlisted, and selected participants may receive an invitation for the live interaction segment of the program.

A Platform for Addressing Exam Anxiety

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event conceptualized to provide a direct platform for dialogue on examinations, preparation strategies, and associated challenges. Conducted ahead of the crucial board examination season, it aims to address the concerns and alleviate the stress faced by students and other stakeholders.

The initiative has witnessed exponential growth since its inception. From approximately 22,000 participants in its first edition in 2018, it soared to 3.56 crore registrations in the previous edition. The eighth edition was held on February 10 last year at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi, featuring an interactive session led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. That edition saw a global footprint, with participation from students in over 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, and parents from 149 countries.

With PPC 2026 already shattering participation records, the upcoming edition is poised to be the largest and most impactful conversation on exam-related wellness and strategy in the country's history.
