While the pass percentages for girls in 2026 showed a slight decrease compared to the previous year 2025, they still maintained a lead over boys in every subject. These results not only celebrate the achievements of female students but also pave the way for them to access various government incentives designed to support their further studies.

Government Schemes for Meritorious Female Students

To encourage and assist high-achieving girls, the Rajasthan government has introduced several beneficial schemes. The Kalibai Bhil Medhavi Chatra Scooty Yojana is a flagship initiative that provides free scooters to meritorious female students from both RBSE and CBSE boards. Eligibility requires a minimum of 65% marks in RBSE Class 12 or 75% in CBSE. The scheme is inclusive, covering students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) within the General Category. Beneficiaries also receive a helmet, two litres of petrol, and five years of insurance coverage at no cost.

Another key program is the Devnarayan Chatra Scooty evam Protsahan Rashi Yojana, specifically tailored for female students from the Most Backward Classes (MBC). This scheme selects students based on high marks in Class 12 and enrollment in regular full-time college or university courses. In addition to a scooter, it offers annual financial assistance to those who continue to perform well during their undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

For girls who do not qualify under the scooty schemes, the Chief Minister's Higher Education Scholarship Scheme provides an alternative. Eligible students can receive an annual scholarship of Rs 5,000 for up to five years. To qualify, applicants must score at least 60% in their Class 12 board exams and have a family annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakh.

Application Process and Required Documents

Students interested in availing these benefits can apply online through the 'Shala Darpan' or 'SSO Portal'. The application process requires submission of several documents, including:

  • Class 12 marksheets

For further details on eligibility and the application procedure, students are advised to contact their school principal or the District Education Officer. These initiatives aim to alleviate commuting challenges for female students, particularly those from rural areas traveling to colleges in nearby towns, thereby supporting their academic journeys.

The RBSE Class 12 results for 2026 not only highlight academic success but also open doors to valuable government support, empowering girls to pursue higher education with greater ease and confidence.
