Singer Perrie Edwards and her footballer beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain officially tied the knot in Portugal after nearly a decade together. The wedding took place on Saturday in Faro, with family and close friends gathering for the hush-hush ceremony. The happy news comes just months after the couple welcomed their second child, daughter Alanis Valentine, born in January 2026. The couple are also parents to son Axel, who was born in August 2021.
According to reports on The Sun, Edwards wore a long-sleeved white late wedding gown with floral detailing and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies. The bride was accompanied by six bridesmaids, including her sister Caitlyn. The couple had deliberately postponed their wedding plans until after the birth of their daughter early this year.
Following the ceremony, Edwards was photographed leaving the church hand-in-hand with Oxlade-Chamberlain, who wore a classic black tuxedo complemented by a matching lily boutonniere. As per Daily Mail, the low-key service began shortly after 3pm, with around 70 close friends and family members in attendance. The couple chose to wed near a villa they own in the Algarve region, where guests were reportedly transported from their hotel to a secret ceremony location before attending a reception at Parrilla Natural.
Guests were accommodated at the luxury Conrad Algarve, one of the Algarve's most exclusive resorts. Among the celebrity attendees was Edwards' former Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock. However, fellow bandmate Jade Thirlwall was unable to attend due to a prior commitment performing at the Primavera Sound Festival on the same day.
The guest list also included several of Oxlade-Chamberlain's footballing friends, including former Arsenal F.C. defender Carl Jenkinson and Fulham F.C. midfielder Harrison Reed. Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who have been together since 2017 and got engaged in June 2022, after welcoming their first child together.
