Exam Details and Level 2 Eligibility
The SOF IMO happens every year for students from Classes 1 to 12. It tests mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities early in academic life.
For the 2025-26 academic year, schools conducted the Level 1 exam on three dates: 12 November 2025, 28 November 2025, and 12 December 2025. This flexible schedule allowed institutions to pick a convenient date.
According to SOF guidelines, students from Classes 3 to 12 who achieve top 5 percent ranks in their classes at Level 1 qualify for Level 2. Classes 1 and 2 do not have a Level 2 exam.
Schools will receive official notifications about qualified students and further exam schedules. Students should stay in contact with their school authorities for updates on Level 2 participation.
Awards and Recognition for Top Performers
SOF provides awards at multiple levels to honor excellence:
- International rank holders receive cash awards, medals, and certificates
- Zonal toppers get medals and certificates
- School-level achievers also earn medals and certificates
- Teachers and principals receive recognition for their guidance and support
With the release of the SOF IMO 2025-26 results, students can now assess their mathematical progress and plan their next steps accordingly.
